Knead started as a small family artisan bakery café in August 2006 in Wembley Square in Cape Town. Today we have 13 stores across Cape Town and Gauteng. Preparing our Café Food is based on simple, unfussy processes and values. We work with a small store of seasonal ingredients sourced locally and easily available. We do not leave anything to chance and that is why we roast and serve our own BAKERS COFFEE. Our family of bakers and chefs are local people who have worked hard to learn the best way of making everything you see.
